Jonny Smokes is a Seattle based musician who has recently made a buzz in the Pacific Northwest music scene by transforming many popular hits into one-man acoustic pieces. After performing several years as a front man for acts such as the alternative rock cover band "X35" and the acoustic Pink Floyd tribute band "The Empty Spaces," Jonny Smokes has now moved on to a solo career, concentrating on his own original material and his acoustic covers. This has kept him quite busy playing many of the region's top clubs, several colleges, ski resorts, cafes, outdoor festivals and music industry talent showcases.

When asked to explain his performance style, Jonny Smokes refers to the act as a paradox. "I try to take all the passion and intensity of a huge rock concert and squeeze it into a mellow, subtle setting. I want the audience to be able to sit and quietly listen, but still feel the power and emotion as if they were at a show with 50,000 people and all the amps on 10!" This attitude is obvious in his live performances, and crowds are captivated and stunned by his diversity in styles, wide vocal range, musical creativity and ability to entertain, especially as a single performer.
